Ko, this is becoming utterly silly, really. Look, I have reasons to seriously wonder whether you have even given a "listen" to tons of 'good' and 'great' bands, let alone actually have the decency (of most self-respecting 'fans') to "buy" real albums on CDs. And looking at your quote above, one can be forgiven for believing that you are 'slamming' Slipknot without ever giving them a proper 'listen'. But ok, you can 'slam' Slipknot 24/7, 'listen' to whatever floats your own boat. Let's just leave the definition of "good band" alone, regardless of what we both think of Slipknot.

I can't do that. See, this is the internet and I am determined to make sure that everyone shares my exact taste in music because I'm the only one who knows what good music is.
