Very true. Particularly Realm of Chaos and Warmaster.

So I found realms of chaos in the back of Traks. Should I get?

EDIT: just listened to the tracks on myspace and realized I hate the lyrics and how they are sung. Which is disappointing.

I tried to like it, but there is no accounting for the lead singer being god awful.

Having said that I would totally get instrumentals of this because it would make fucking sick driving music.

Like I said somewhere else, I could probally end up liking this if I had an album or two on my mp3 and was bored/angry enough to listen to it over my other stuff.

Jumping straight into Bolt Thrower without having listened to any other death metal is probably not the greatest idea. I started off with Morbid Angel, Death, and Possessed, and by the time I discovered Bolt Thrower, I really liked the brutal vocals.

I'd just like to mention the following...

While I otherwise hate the production on Realm of Chaos, I fucking love their guitar sound and the opening riff of Through the Eye of Terror is totally tittahs!

Realm of Chaos isn't quite as strong as some of their other albums, IMO. But really, Bolt Thrower has never released something that wasn't, at the very least, good. Great band.
