It's okay. Not great, but it probably gets more hate than it deserves.

That is actually my favorite album.

Mayhem are not one of my big favourites in BM. Though, I'd easily say how I still rate (and love) their first full-length record, De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, the best. That remains a black metal classic, no question. I haven't bought or heard their last two discs---Chimera and Ordo Ad Chao. Anybody wanna tell how good or bad these two are? Oddly enough, Mayhem have put out no less than FOUR 'live album' releases. And funnily enough, I have got 'em ALL.

I thought Chimera was pretty damn good.
I didn't like Ordo Ad Chao that much but I only gave it one listen.

Chimera's fuckin great.

Haven't heard Ordo Ad Chao.

Alright, then, I'm gonna have to get both of them.
Listening to some seriously cool black metal in the dead of a frigid, wintry night has gotta be a great experience, all round. Too bad, I'm in early summer, and bakingly hot weather for 2-3 straight weeks already.

There are a bunch of other bm discs that I wanna get hold of and listen to properly.
