Persuader is a Swedish power metal band, formed in 1997. They have released three albums to date, and 2004's Evolution Purgatory is widely considered to be their best. It's probably my favorite, too, but I enjoy all of their albums.
Overall, a great band that not only power metal fans, but metal fans in general, should check out. The guitar tone can be mildly irritating at times, but the excellence of everything else more than makes up for it.
