Hey, all Exodus fanboys of the M&S club Razz Lol ...I found this for you. See if it's any good.

I saw Exodus and Kreator last month on that same tour. Probably the best concert I've ever been to. Exodus is just fantastic live.
Since there's no Exodus thread, this will be it now.

And here's to losing more metal cred: I hate Steve Souza's vocals, truly I do.

I'm not a fan of them either, tbh. Actually, even Paul Baloff isn't very high up on my list of favorite thrash vocalists. Vox have always been the weak point of Exodus, imo.

So, has anybody heard Exhibit B yet? I thought it was a very solid album. Exodus's best in years, and one of the top new albums by old thrash bands.
Imo, the start of Bonded by Blood is an example of Baloff's weak vocals, but as the album progresses, he gets so much awesomer. The stuff in the later part of the album is the kind of vocals i had been looking for in Thrash for a long time. And Rob Dukes' vox are fucking bitchen.

And I gots to get Exhibit B, I've heard tons of praises about it but first I'm gonna get Sadus and Swashbuckle and after Exhibit B, I'll finally get down to the list of twins' Thrash album recommendations.
Baloff is awesome. I really don't understand the gripe people have with thrash vocalists. It's supposed to be angry, raw and political and most vocalists fit this bill in terms of vokillz.
I got no probs with Baloff, he kicks a fair amount of ass.

But Souza's voice sounds so fucking nasal and offputting :/

Yeah, that discussion on UM was pretty retarded. I do actually really like a lot of thrash vocalists, but none of them happen to be from Exodus for some reason.
Care to list some of your faves?

And I hope Mille isn't among them Pacman (I kid and apologize)
He is, actually. Only the early stuff, though.

Russ Anderson has got to be my favorite. His vocals are pretty much perfect. Martin Walkyier from Sabbat is also up there. Kenn Nardi from Anacrusis is fantastic. Those four, along with Chuck Billy and Tom Araya, are probably my favorites.
Chuck Billy is awesome. I like the guy from Toxik's Think This album.
The new guy Exodus has on vocals is actually pretty great IMO. Baloff isn't bad either; used to hate him but I've warmed up to him.
Am I a bad person for thinking that Exodus is the most overrated thrash band ever? I've heard several songs with different vocalists from different albums and didn't enjoy a single one.

Exodus is fine. Certainly far less overrated than Megadeth, Metallica, and Anthrax.
The most known bands are almost always overrated, but Exodus is only one rank lower in terms of popularity - and IMO the other bands in its category are miles better (Testament, Overkill, Death Angel, even Kreator from what I've heard).
I think I prefer Exodus to Testament. Other than that, yeah. Kreator and Dark Angel especially.
Has anyone here listened to Exhibit B? I heard it was quite a step up compared to Exhibit A.
I remember thinking it was pretty solid, but not something I wouldn't listen to often, especially considering Exodus' other excellent albums. It was a lot better than A, yeah. It kinda dragged a bit though; 74 minutes is way too long for a thrash album.
