Hmm. I'm looking forward to Burzum, of course. Blind Guardian, too. I have a feeling that Armored Saint's release will be the best by a veteran band, though. I don't have very high expectations for Decapitated, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they put out something good. Beyond that, I don't even know what bands are expected to release something this year.

Decapitated and Behemoth will both be in NZ, IIRC.

Well reading the description of their sound and lyrics makes me think otherwise, if I knew people who listened to them I would probally borrow some before passing judgement but I dont so meh.

Tbh I always felt weird about Behemoth's lyrics. While they are really complex and original, it's sad they are so hard to understand. They are really abstract too, I mean when I hear a song named 'Christians to the Lions', I expect to hear about an megalomaniac emperor throwing Christians in an Arena, not "rise me! rise me high! Lead through the gates ov sun !"
Now they ARE pretty cool, just really hard to catch. But that maybe because I never read The Book of Law, and not a lot of Lovecraft

I'm gonna be really surprised if '10 is as good as '09. Hell, even just through Evangelion and Endgame. And I know there's some CD I'm forgetting that I got and loved that comes from this year...
