Well I do believe it's good music... very much so. Just not necessarily cerebral ("intelligent") music.
Being "simple" is not what makes the band terrible. Simple music is often very good, which I think most people would agree with. Rather, WBTBWB are pretty much devoid of anything that could be considered "good."
Obviously I can't really criticize you for enjoying something, since that is 100% subjective, and that seems to be the only thing you are arguing for anyways, so we'll just leave it at that.
I like them a lot and I think their newest one has a lot of good melodies and I don't think it's as breakdown filled as their debut.
Besides there Butt, you're trying to justify a band's worth by comparing to other artists (who happen to be more talented anyway, thus making your point moot), instead of explaining why they are good. Because they are not good at all. Effigy makes a good point. Effigy, please explain to me how someone can enjoy this. How is it possible?

Well then we're just back to the whole "it is impossible to judge their artistic value because they have none" thing. Having a goal of making stupid, silly music is just... well, stupid and silly.

Yes, I did claim that. And haven't strayed from my position. Breakdowns don't equal bad, WBTBWB = bad, and they happen to use breakdowns. Essentially they gave breakdowns AIDS. No one wants to touch breakdowns anymore. Except people who like shitty scene bands and WBTBWB.
WBTBWB is bad because of their lack of creativity and musicianship.

Silly, yes, but stupid? I don't think they're stupid. They still have some damn fine electronics going on.
And tbh, not all the music I listen to is "artistic". And (tell the truth), I'm sure that you listen to a few bands who are not "artistic", and have no desire to create "artistic" music either, correct? I'm actually sure that everyone here has specific bands they listen to that they listen to just for the fun aspect. But whether or not something has artistic value or is intellectually engaging, as I've said, doesn't in all cases determine quality of the tunes themselves.

WBTBWB doesn't just do breakdowns though? And if you've even given any of their shit a fair listen, you'd see that they had some decent electronics going on?
Also I could just as easily argue that Rammstein lacks creativity and musicianship tbh. As much as I like Rammstein, they're no different to WBTBWB in that the electronics
carry the band. If they kicked Flake, they'd be nothing, and one would have to be a dunce to argue otherwise.

You're right, I haven't given them a fair listen. Because they just grate on my nerves like fingers down a chalkboard. It's good when you can listen to something fun AND appreciate the artistry, though. Unless you take glee in making fun of shitty musicians, in which case, you'd be an asshole (not unlike myself
