I thought we had a thread for Asphyx, but apparently not. Anyways, they're a death/doom band from the Netherlands, formed in 1987. Last One On Earth is pretty much a classic in the genre, and their new album, Death... the Brutal Way, is fantastic as well.

Yea, I've got ALL of Asphyx albums, so far----including the latest excellent studio disc that I just bought. Overall, a great bunch of metallers, and consistent with a steady line of outstanding Dutch extreme bands. Talking of which, the new Pestilence is pretty darn good, as well.
