So, it turns out that when you power-level all of your relevant professions to level 100 before actually completing any major quest line, "master" difficulty becomes fucking retardedly easy. For a good example, it becomes "two frost dragons, a giant, two mammoths, a sabre cat, and some poor wrong place/wrong time wolves simultaneously slaughtered without a bead of sweat" easy.
Rolling around in +???% exploit-smithed ebony armor with full double enchantments. I'm waiting to craft my daedric weapons and dragon armor till I have my alchemy fully leveled to 100 (only about 50 right now).
(no console codes. just exploits. my combat skills are barely touched.)
Just because you CAN do it, doesn't mean you SHOULD do it.
This held true for Oblivion, perhaps even more so, where the highest difficulty was easily overcome by exploiting the leveling system. Especially in terms of magic, with the ability to custom-make spells that could in effect break the game at it's highest difficulty with enough time and patience. Skyrim actually presents more of a challenge to level properly, and dares you to not attempt to break the game by swinging exploits in front of your face but then saying "why do that when you can do all this other stuff?"
Role-playing, at it's origin, is about playing a role. It's not about exploiting a given system of role-playing to somehow "win" a game you aren't supposed to win. If you are unable to restrain yourself to resist the exploits, then don't bitch about them being there. A game this complex is bound to have them, it is your choice whether or not you take advantage. It kills the entire "point" of the game for me, so I go to perhaps unusual lengths to avoid it. The worst I've been guilty of is rummaging up a few iron daggers here and there due to the simplicity of finding the stuff you need for them, but even that I won't do unless it's all I have at hand. In the true idea of roleplaying, it's fucking idiotic to actually think you could become a master at anything so varied in it's elements by simply repeating the same process over and over and over again.
Not sure if bitching about broken game or just having fun with it, so take above as you will.

Oh, no, not bitching. I could totally set limitations for myself. I'm just that kinda guy who HAS to get the best-of-the-best of everything and steamroll my way through the rest of the game. Skyrim is more just unique that it can be exploited "infinitely". Typically in open-world games, exploits have certain limitations (if only based on what money can buy), but depending on how much time you have to waste you can shred dragons in seconds even without sneak.
Though, one thing I
am pissed about is that my wife keeps permanently disappearing after we get married. Even if I break off the guy's talking and run to say "we're living at my place", she disappears permanently. GOD DAMMIT, BRELYNA. GET YO DUNMER ASS INTO THE HOUSE.
I think I might do a sincere play-through. Conjuration+Alteration seems like a fun combo, and aside from some minor enchanting things, there's not many exploits I can be sucked into (other than archery via bound bow being fucking ridiculous).
I went ahead and finished the main quest with my MAIN main character (Nord, One-handed/block/heavy armor/smithing/not much else) and now am just getting into my wise old Breton mage. Will focus on all 5 magic schools, and a little Enchantment and Alchemy for supplementing. It's far more of a challenge in the early game, but adjusting my style of play from melee to distance is fun. Also looking forward to the possibility of a war mage (bound weapons, heavy armor, destruction/restoration) and a pure thief (probably khajiit or argonian). Eventually want to have what feel like full playthroughs with a character from each of the 10 races. That's when I'll announce I've "finished" Skyrim.
I had a lot of fun with a sneaky conjuration mage. I would summon atronachs and stuff to distract anyone who tried to hit me and used only bound weapons. I mostly used a bow or a one-handed sword+some random spell. Using sneak is way too easymode though.

I just hit 100 conjuration. This machine-gun firing of atronachs will never get old...
200+ hours says otherwise.
Been playing skyrim on my cousins' ps3. Level 16 dark elf sneaky archer. Kick-ass.
